With trading becoming more regular during the month of August, Friday was the real “eye catcher” for traders to add Halberd Corp. (HALB) to their lists. Virtually nothing traded all year until August 3rd which is when activity on HALB stock became more regular. However, the power hour Friday was more than unusual volume on the drone maker which can only be someone front loading shares for an upcoming promotion.

With revenues booked for the 3 months ended April 30, 2012 of $137,794 versus $79 for the same period in 2011, and $244,758 for the nine months ended versus $54,079 respectively, you would think this was amazing, right? Hold on to your jaw because the cost of sales for the three and nine months ended April 30, 2012 were $0 and $34. An insanely, virtually impossible 99.99% gross profit!
The sad part is that whoever prepared their non-SEC filed financials absolutely spoiled any swagger by not naming their line item after operating expenses correctly. (see here) When seeing they had a $94,613 operating loss for the three months ended although operating expenses were only $43,181, WTF is the only phrase that comes to mind. However, despite the clerical error, its paper proof that Halberd is executing their business model effectively and good things are surely in the future for this visionary company in their niche market.

Bottom Line: No need to be an Air Force pilot to see that HALB stock needs to be on the list of penny stocks to watch for the beginning of September.
