How It Works
This strategy involves opening a vertical credit spread on expiration day with SPX (S&P 500) daily options. This means selling an option at one strike and purchasing an option at another strike price. The goal of a vertical credit spread is for both option contracts to expire worthless, and thus you keep the credit gained when you opened the spread.
