Just last week, Mikros Systems issued out PR detailing that Northrop Grumman Corp. (NYSE: NOC) had selected the Company to assist in the design of wireless networks on U.S. Navy Submarines for the Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES) program. The news was so significant that 100 shares of MKRS stock traded just hours later when the markets opened on Monday, January 14. News of a selection by the DoD giant should have sent the shares into orbit.
Looking back as far as 3 years, MKRS stock has never been an advocate of the “big bang theory” for traders. Share volume has never surged above 300,000 in a day and only been over 150,000 4 times during that period. The lack of trading activity on a daily basis is even puzzling for the low float, net income generator with a current ratio of roughly 3:1.
Mikros Systems Corporation had positive cash flow during the nine months ended September 30, 2012, $$ 31,000, as well as during the same period for 2011, $$ 20,635. Revenues are consistently reported as soon as the product has been delivered and accepted by the Federal government. Most importantly, future revenues to be recognized under negotiated contracts as work is performed from the Company’s Adaptive Diagnostic Electronic Portable Testset units to be developed and delivered to the Federal government were estimated to be $3,292,568 as of September 30, 2012.
All in all, MKRS is extremely undervalued and shamefully off-the-radar from penny stock traders — until now.

Bottom Line: Everyone and their mother should have MKRS on their penny stock radars for Tuesday, especially since APS can’t seem to fulfill yet another promise of a scheduled upcoming pick release date. With little in the way of blocking Mikros Systems from having a truly epic trading session, have MKRS stock pegged to break its 52Wk high at some point early on Tuesday and closing somewhere above the .10 range.
