There’s no sex like ex-sex they say. The same may be said for penny stocks as shares in North Springs Resources (OTCBB: NSRS) are outperforming Sunpeaks Ventures (OTCBB: SNPK) again. At the midway point of today’s trading session, shares in NSRS are up $0.013, 21.67%, to $0.073 on volume of 2,380,231. The once hot penny stock that made CEO Harry Lappa a very famous Google search query has outperformed SNPK now two days in row if it can maintain today’s gains.

The surge the penny stock is surely from the earnings fye January 31, 2012 reported two weeks ago that showed NSRS had increased their current assets by a whopping 530% to $62,538. Hopefully you understand sarcasm but the rise in NSRS during the long awaited dump of its big brother, SNPK, seems to be ironic.
