FOH | Coming Soon To The OTC: Frederick’s of Hollywood

FOH, NYSE MKT FOH, FOH stock quote, FOH delisting, Frederick’s of Hollywood,So who is buying me Valentine’s day gift this year? If you were stumped for ideas, I already have all the latest gadgets and toys from one of my favorite penny stocks, Liberator, Inc. (LUVU), but a girl can always find room for gifts which come from soon-to-be OTC listed Frederick’s of Hollywood Group Inc. (FOH). While I like both LUVU stock and FOH stock for long and strong holds, the news that the leader in sexy and luxurious lingerie is delisting from the NYSE Amex next week to join the OTC gives “being liquid” for that date a new meaning.

According to the response to the delisting notice from NYSE Amex Mkt officials, Frederick’s of Hollywood’s Chairman and CEO stated that the Company has decided not to request a hearing to appeal the delisting determination, and its common stock, FOH, is expected to be suspended from the Exchange effective at the open of the market on February 22, 2013. This is sad news for shareholders already owning shares but not for penny stock traders.

Typically, due much in part to the lack of trust for the OTC markets as well as the increased costs involved in executing trades, companies delisting to the OTC see a quick drop in their share price – a sell off within a day or so. Bargain hunters can easily scoop up the same shares, same revenues, same EPS and same stock that was listed on the higher level exchange at a fraction of the costs.

A week ago, with Valentine’s Day fast approaching, Frederick’s of Hollywood announced their top 3 lingerie picks to celebrate and to make shopping for loved-ones easier. Available at the company’s website and with overnight shipping available, those in need of a last minute self-gift (you think all we women want is lingerie?), those not wanting to be in the dog house can choose one of the newest lines like:

1. The Hollywood Dream Corset – exclusive, life changing and undeniably sexy!
2. Daring, Decadent Special Occasion Lingerie – ultra-confident details and awe-inspiring silhouettes!
3. The Little Black Lace Dress and the Little Red Lace Dress – stunning styles featuring gorgeous lace, beading, plunging backs like the Wrap-Around Body-Con Dress and the Strapless Tuxedo Dress.

Other than taking advantage of putting FOH stock on your watch list for the 23rd when it lists on the OTC, here’s my gift to you readers from my trip this past holiday season — click here.

Bottom Line: If you are in need of a good idea for a last minute gift for tomorrow, look no further than some of my favorite penny stocks. Liberator Inc. offers gifts for those who aren’t afraid t explore while Frederick’s of Hollywood offers more of a treasure map cloaking the gifts that hide within for those invited for the search. I like FOH stock and LUVU stock long, but Frederick’s delisting wll be a great chance to bounce play assuming it slides when it hits the OTC like a pair of panties slides down tomorrow night.
