With one mineral property under option, Ranger Gold may not be making progress in the exploration arena for gold, bit they are surely the happy recipients of it today with a great opportunity to move some shares at much higher prices than normal. In fact, the last time anyone heard from the Company other than regular SEC filings was in August when they updated the progress on their project.
The U.S. Forest Service issued Ranger Gold a notice that a scoping study was underway for the Company’s Truman Property. While the scoping study designates 30 days for responses from the public and the Company’s President, Gary Basari stated “The scoping study is another step in the drill permitting process,” it seems that no positive response came.
As of the last Q-filing for the period ended December 31, 2012, ranger Gold stated that over the next twelve months they intend to explore their property to determine whether it contains commercially exploitable reserves of gold and silver or other metals. I plan on buying a Ferrari and driving into the side of Timmy’s Lambo when it’s parked outside the Turkish bath house on South Beach – doesn’t mean it will ever happen.
As for RNGC stock, big props for those who got in early and flipped it. Seems that Joe and crew have made a name for themselves over the last 6 months and are properly putting up the numbers making them much more Awesome collectively than APS and crew.

Bottom Line: RNGC proved that penny stock alerts at the bell are 10 times more effective than when the ticker is issued overnight. Sure the issuance of a ticker overnight makes many think that everyone gets to see it so they know the play, but you can’t get triple digit gains when you loose half of that amount on the gap open.
